No summer season in 2025!
On Wednesday, May 28, Blatten in the Lötschental valley was almost completely buried by a landslide and glacier collapse. Around 300 people lost their homes, their homeland and many memories. It is an incomprehensible and catastrophic event. We at the Anenhütte are in contact with the municipality and are trying to help wherever possible.
Access to the Fafleralp will not be possible for tourists for a longer period of time and the starting point to the Anenhütte will therefore not be accessible. For this reason, force majeure has made it impossible to carry out the 2025 summer season.
We have high hopes that we can be there for you again in the 2026 season.
